We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.As a manager on our Global Communications team, you support in the implementation and measurement of high-impact, integrated communications across various disciplines within corporate communications, with a focus on crisis communications/brand reputation and the goal of protecting and elevating the Starbucks business and brand with all stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a passion for crisis communications with a drive to support and protect the brand. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that will require collaboration across multiple business groups and with internal and external stakeholders. As a key function within the organization, you will also be expected to provide timely strategic communications counsel to all levels, including senior or regional leaders, able to flex across various business operations.This person will need to be experienced and enjoys engaging with reporters, editors, partners (employees) and key stakeholders.As a manager, you will… Serve as day-to-day support for issues and crisis communication for the company, leading cross-functional teams, developing key messages and engaging with reporters as needed. Develop communications campaign materials, including key messages, Q&As, timelines and presentations to further elevate the corporate reputation of Starbucks. Refine reporting for media coverage and other key measurements of impact. Manage agency partners respond quickly to issues. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
