Pioneers Bar Seeks Bar Manager/Bartender

Pioneers Bar is seeking a Bar Manager/Bartender!

Located in the heart of Chelsea, Pioneers Bar is a local watering hole catering to regulars and large groups alike, featuring arcade and table games, large TVs showcasing a variety of sports and movies, and more! Pioneers Bar is a sister business of The PIT, an improv/comedy theater a few steps down the street.

We are looking for an individual with bar management experience or a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will be willing to take on 15-20 hours per week of management hours as well as 2 bartending shifts to start. This is a high volume bar with high earning potential!

Management duties include maintaining inventory, running payroll every 2 weeks, scheduling bartenders, timely bill payment, ordering, communication with our bookkeeper, hiring, maintaining licenses/certificates, and other duties as they arise.

Must have (or be willing to get quickly!) a current Food Handler's License (FHL) and TIPS certification.

Management hours will be paid at $17/hour. Bartenders will be paid $10.65/hour plus tips (our bartenders typically make $200-$300 per shift), starting at 2 shifts per week with the option to take on more for the right candidate.

This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.
