Roofing/Construction Project Manager/Scheduler

We are a looking for a highly motivated roofer looking to learn and assist with Project Management for our residential roofing projects. This position involves overseeing crews of laborers and roofing/construction activities as well as performs any job to ensure the timely completion of construction projects. Understanding all the components, materials and manpower needed to complete each project, assigning a team to complete and following through with the customer through complete job close-out. The successful candidate will be flexible and adaptable throughout the day in our fast-paced working environment. A current Washington State driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Must have roofing/construction management experience!

Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in written and oral formats.

Must have Word, Excel & Outlook experience.

Must display initiative, professionalism, candor, and tact at all times.

Essential Functions

Prepare material load lists for each project and determine appropriate supplier and schedule all jobs for each crew according to job, skills, materials, etc.

Prepare shop materials & tools for crew (check out tools & manage material inventory)

Provide support for crews (material runs, dump runs, field measures, pics, etc.)

Communicate with customers and office of any adds or changes to contracts

Resolve any project discrepancies between estimators and installers

Assist crews with piecework & paperwork

Leak Assessment and Repair

Read and follow plans, material lists and guidelines, and carry out necessary timelines

Track and generate field notes, field checklists and digital photos

Regulate required safety meetings and communicate effectively with crew members to ensure understanding of compliance policies

Lead and prepare employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames

Apply company safety policies and procedures by promoting and supporting crew members through leadership

Comply with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation while respectfully translating safety protocol

Assist and work with crew members on various job tasks to ensure daily work goals are met

Use construction hand tools and assist production as needed

Prepare, manage, and maintain project documentation

Ability to be on call, as needed

Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and specs

Define labor and materials for projects
