Construction Project Manager

We are a growing Puget Sound area general contractor in need of a highly qualified project manager / construction manager to oversee our South Puget Sound operations. Our work consists of commercial construction with an emphasis on medical and dental tenant improvement and ground up. This position incorporates the following:

Oversite of lower-level project managers and the daily operations of the South Puget Sound area.

Working with the client to define scope, coordinate with architects and engineers.

Develop cost estimates and provide information to assist with value engineering by coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to prepare final project costs that meet the client’s budget and needs.

Once the project has been contracted, the project manager develops a project schedule, processes material submittals, coordinates sub-contractor work, issues subcontracts, and work with the project superintendent to create and implement safety plans and procedures.

During the duration of the project the project manager provides schedule updates, processes change orders, runs weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings, and ensures a high level of craftsmanship is maintained throughout all phases of construction. The project manager works closely with the superintendent and architectural team to address conflicts and request additional information as needed. As projects are completed the project manager is responsible for receiving and organizing close out documents, scheduling commissioning and trainings, ensures that all permits are completed and closed out, and that all punch list items are satisfactorily completed.
