Page Mechanical Group, Inc., a successful and established mechanical contractor, is seeking a qualified Service Coordinator with a background in HVAC dispatching to add to its growing team. This position is a long term, full time employment opportunity for the right qualified candidate.
The Service Coordinator is responsible for handling all service calls and work scheduling for maintenance, service and installation requests. Schedules and dispatches workers as requests are received. Maintains records, logs, and schedules of calls received; monitors resources and vehicles, etc.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receive, process, and prioritize all incoming HVAC service call requests
Develops daily schedule to include maintenance, service and installation projects
Orders parts and materials as needed.
Issues purchase orders to technicians
Log all work orders into software system
Dispatch work orders to the field techs based upon priority
Maintain on-call schedule
Provide direction to technicians for operational and functional duties
Maintain customer database; maintain pending work file for regular follow-up
Monitor status of all uncommitted service repairs and take corrective action
Call customers and advise to company schedule and requested lead times for service
Receive & process completed work orders from field techs for billing department
Set up job files for all HVAC work orders
Solicit feedback from customers in relation to service received
Qualification Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability to perform this job successfully.
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year certificate from college/technical school; and /or five years related experience in the Commercial HVAC industry in a customer service position.
Team player who works and communicates well with people at all levels
Expert level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations with tact, diplomacy, influence and sensitivity
Demonstrate phone and e-mail etiquette
Ability to multi-task
Ability to use significant independent judgment
Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Maxwell software
