Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager

Looking to hire experienced Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager. Someone that could bring corporate experience to a busy production kitchen that will be able to set new operating standards and set daily operational procedures partnered with the Executive Chef. Must be computer literate in Word and Excel. Have a good understanding of LA Health Department rules and current Manager's ServSafe Certificate. Sunday - Friday Mornings 5 day work week period. Responsibilities:

- Support the preparation of all food items and ordering

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas of the business

- Alert Chef as to any deficiency of food items or any maintenance needs or safety hazards

- Maintain food quality and minimize food waste

- Control labor

Ability/Skills

- Minimum 2 years experience as kitchen manager

- High school diploma

- Ability to lift up to 50 lb

- Knowledge for all cooking techniques

- Ability to communicate verbal and written Spanish/English
