LOOKING FOR PREP/LINE COOK

Croutons Restaurant in UCSD is looking for a Prep/Line Cook that welcomes the challenges of a fast-paced, high volume quick-service restaurant. The position requires availability from 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday (30-35) hours per week)

About the business:

Being on campus means we are busy when school is in session and very slow when they are not (July-September). Campus is extremely slow during these times which also includes the winter holiday break.

During summer months the hours are Monday - Friday 9 am - 2 pm.

During the busy times (Fall Semester, Winter Semester, Spring Semester) we are very busy with extended hours, M-F 7:30am - 3:30 pm

Training will start upon hire date.

This position will require the following skills:

-Experience as line cook.

-Cleanliness and organizational skills a must.

-ServSafe Certified a plus.

-Being self motivated.

-Being able to hold standards and consistency.

-Being able to work long hours when necessary due to multiple caterings.

-Working independently as well as with a team.

-Showing a positive attitude at all times which in turn keeps a positive environment thriving.

-Showing respect to all co-workers, managers, etc

This position is full time or part time.

Parking (paid) by company. There are several lots close to us or There is a trolley line close on campus also. Public transportation works great to get to these job.
