The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the overall management of a fleet of 600-800 vehicles. This includes partnering with over 30 locations to source, register, provide analytics to leaders within the business on maintenance metrics, gas cards to help increase pace of play within the branches in regard to fleet management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities

Liaison to API Fleet Procurement Team – Be an expert partner to API group to understand available procurement programs and launch those within the branches. Advocate for customer service expectations and build relationships within API and external vendors

Vehicle Sourcing: Learn and become the expert on the Holman ordering and transfer process. Support our branches in the annual ordering process through training and analytic support on recommended needs, provide budgetary considerations within the recommendation. Support branches in negotiation contracts with dealers and manufacturers to secure the best deals.

Registration & Compliance: Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, insured, and compliant with local regulations. Create a toolkit for ordering the required decals as needed for each branch and support any branches as those change with branding standards. Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related documentation.

Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life through analytics of spend and pricing through API programs. Work with branch to support the use of Holman Maintenance (or other API level maintenance arrangements) and schedule and coordinate repairs, servicing, and inspections.

Cost Management: Monitor and control fleet-related expenditures, implementing cost-saving measures where possible. Analyze and report on fleet performance, costs, and utilization to senior management.

Replacement Recommendations: Evaluate the condition and performance of vehicles and make recommendations on replacements. Develop a long-term vehicle replacement strategy to ensure fleet efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Safety & Compliance: Work with the safety team to ensure programs and initiatives are in alignment with Company wide safety initiatives and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Proven experience in fleet management, preferably with a large and diverse fleet.

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in fleet management software and MS Office Suite.

Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid driver’s license.
