Child Care Center Cook (2 Positions/ Locations)
6:45 AM - 3:15 PM M-F
This position includes cooking breakfast, lunch, and two snacks daily. Candidates should have experience cooking for groups or institutions and a current food handler's permit. Comfort around children birth-10 years preferred. Duties include: preparing and serving meals and snacks; maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment; following all health department and licensing laws; and ordering food and supplies. Must have good time management skills, ability to multitask, and be able to follow instructions. Reports to the center director, center program supervisor/assistant director, and company executive director.
Requirements: proof of negative TB test, proof of MMR and COVID-19 vaccinations, Food Handler's Permit, and ability to pass a background check. Good communication skills, team player attitude, and attention to detail are a must.
Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after a 500 hour (approximately 3 month) probationary period. Benefits include sick/vacation/personal time, the opportunity for medical/dental insurance, and several paid holidays throughout the year.
