Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst in Miami, Florida. The Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst will be a key player in our data analysis team, providing support and developing skills in Power BI reporting, Excel data analysis, and SQL queries. This role is a stepping stone for recent graduates or entry-level professionals in a dynamic work environment.Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and update Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to various business units. Perform data analysis and manipulation using Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and macros. Write and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards. Collaborate with senior analysts to design and implement data visualization solutions that meet business requirements. Assist in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports to support business decisions. Conduct data validation and ensure consistency across different data sources. Support the maintenance and optimization of existing SQL queries to boost performance and accuracy. Assist in implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency. Work closely with senior team members to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Provide support and training to end-users on how to effectively use Power BI reports and Excel tools. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of BI processes and tools.
