Description Robert Half is searching for a highly skilled, reliable, and versatile Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a reputable real estate company in Colorado Springs. Accurately receive and post payments, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

Use third-party software to manage payments and handle banking data for new and existing properties.

Support accurate and timely month-end closing procedures, including bank reconciliation and reviewing the Profit and Loss statement for any missing expenses.

Provide ongoing assistance and support to property managers and tenants as required.

Handle ad-hoc requests and tasks pertaining to property management.

Prepare and enter journal entries as needed.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Strong understanding of accounting principles.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of financial statements and be prepared to assist in month-end closings. You will review reports and crucially analyze for discrepancies before being sent to property managers and owners. You will also be expected to provide support to property managers, assist tenants as needed, and address any other odds and ends that may arise.
