Picking Supervisor

GMA Accessories, Inc. dba Capelli New York and Ballet Group LLC. is a major U.S. manufacturer and distributor of apparel, footwear, novelty and gift products, jewelry, ladies fashion accessories, handbags and sports/athletic apparel. We were established in 1990 and have approximately 600 employees in the U.S.A. and 2,500 employees worldwide. We have offices in the U.S.A., China, Hong Kong, Germany, UK and Bangladesh. Our U.S. warehouse facilities are located in New Jersey for east coast distribution and California for west coast distribution.

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a driven Picking Supervisor strictly for our Distribution Center in Pittston, PA.

Responsibilities:

Confirming all picking deadlines and priority cut-off times are met.

Ensuring the sort process of pick tickets by account and effectively distributing them.

Work in partnership with floor supervisor to come up with a deliverable schedule for all accounts.

Maintain flow of pick tickets from WMS and prepare pick lists.

Oversee a team of 10-15 pickers.

Suggest ways for management to store products more efficiently that leads to speeding up picking.

Develops ways to speed up production and reduce overhead.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience Utilizing WMS (Warehouse Management System), preferable SAP EWM.
