Growing local Tire Wholesaler seeking sales candidates to join our team in our Pawtucket location.

Responsibilities:

-Maintain and develop friendship with the company’s existing customers by ensuring regular contact with them through meetings, speaking with them on the phone, and also communicating with them by email.

-Pay visit to prospective customers in assigned locations to answer their questions and resolve whatever issues they may be having about the company’s products, and to ask for new orders.

-Compile customer and market information useful for planning and executing sales.

-Negotiate issues such as price variation, product delivery and specifications

-Compile customer and market information useful for planning and executing sales.

-Strive towards having better understanding of customers and their requirements so as to be able to advice them in making better purchasing decision.

Job requirements:

-Excellent skills in planning and organizing

-Identify and pursue potential leads and convert them into customers

-Knowledge of all Tire manufacturers features and benefits.

-Excellent communication skills, Spanish a plus.

-Monitor competitor products and sales activities and provide feedback to the management

-Develop and implement effective sales strategies to reach sales targets

-Prepare regular sales reports and provide them to the management

-Participate in trade shows, conferences, and community events to promote the company and its products or services

Resposibilities:

-Present, promote and sell products/services to prospective customers

-Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

-Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

-Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

-Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

-Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

-Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Qualifications:

-Proven work experience as a sales representative

-Excellent knowledge of MS Office

-Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

-Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

-Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

-Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer needs

Education:

BS/BA degree or equivalent

Experience:

Prior tire sales experience
