Caregiver for Autistic teen

Need caregiver/companion for our autistic 19 yr old son. Position is for companionship, meal prep and taking on outings. He is self sufficient in toileting, dresing, bathing. He has typical teenager tendencies to be rough sometimes so we are looking for male companion who can handle occasional autistic misbehaviors and can re-direct to avoid behaviors. We are looking for a part time position and are flexible on hours, typical hours would be after school Thurs & Fri from 3 to 7 PM and/or 10AM-6PM on weekends.

Ideal but not required qualifications: background in autistic care.

Having your own reliable transportation will be essential for the position.

Compensation will depend on experience and will range from $25-30 per hour, partially paid by county mental health
