ENGINEER III
What would I be doing?To perform maintenance duties within the specified trade skill in all casino/hotel facilities. The Engineer III Team Member will specialize with the following area of HVAC.Performs preventative and corrective maintenance, plans project layouts, installs, repairs and services industrial, commercial, and residential environmental control systems.Responsibilities
Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards.
Follow preventative maintenance schedules on equipment and rooms in assigned areas and document work performed in database using a computer.
Respond to guest calls concerning maintenance issues in hotel rooms, on the casino floor, and other areas of the property.
Respond to calls from employees concerning maintenance issues in offices, shops, kitchen, laundry, the hotel and casino.
Perform repair and maintenance to equipment.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in shops and work areas.

Cuts, punches, flanges, shears and solders sheet metal ducts and parts; Cuts, threads and packs pipes
Cements insulation in place over finished piping or tubing
Passes electrical wire through conduit, splices wire connection and tapes wire
Assembles sheet metal components of prefabricated furnaces
Replaces exhausted or defective containers of refrigerant with new refrigerant
Lubricates fans, motors and control units
Installs air and water filters in completed assembly
What are we looking for?
Knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
Journeyman or Apprentice level knowledge of skills. Knowledge of state and local code as it applies to his or her trade skill.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedures manuals, safety rules, blueprints or schematics.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.
Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Formal education in specialized field or engineering/maintenance procedures.
The person for this position will be a licensed Journeyman or within one year of completion of an apprenticeship with 5 or more years of experience.
