Senior Compliance Capture Engineer
About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Compliance Capture Engineer to provide technical expertise, establish objectives/goals, provide ongoing feedback and analysis on critical operating systems that support Trader Voice Services and regulatory recording critical infrastructure. The candidate must possess technical expertise on various recording platforms with integration into trader voice infrastructure, IP Telephony, Unified Communications (UC), Voice-as-a-Service, MS Teams, and Video technology products. The candidate must have a solid understanding of software and hardware architecture for complex enterprise environments both on-prem and cloud.The engineer will be responsible for adherence with all foundational engineering practices for production and lower-level environments. The engineer will partner with peers across the US, APAC, and EMEA to assist with global compliance recording governance. They will work closely with the Product Management teams providing recording engineering and on-site project support. Including, daily interactions with the business regarding regulated/recorded users that occur during the NYSE and NASDAQ trading day. Timely responses to business inquiries and issues are imperative to prevent regulated recording gaps.In this role, you will:
Handle administration, configuration management and operational maintenance of systems
Monitor system performance and perform fine tuning as necessary
Vulnerability management including operating systems and hardware
Assists in maintaining data integrity and security
Performs capacity analysis and forecasting for infrastructure resources
Manage Hardware/Software Lifecycle
Provides support for Development, Test, and Production environments
Tests, Installs, maintains and patches enterprise applications
Serve as a subject matter expert for Call Recording and integration with Voice and UC platforms
Cross trains with other team members across technology domains
Provides backup capabilities to other key roles in the organization
Adheres to IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL) best practices
Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with customer and vendor
Required Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
1+ year of experience with compliance capture with a preference towards experience with NICE Trader Recording (NTR) and/or Verba Financial Compliance (VFC)
Desired Qualifications:
Prior experience migrating from one recording platform to another
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: build/deploy processes, and release management
Knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure: data center, network, storage, and compute domains
2+ years of virtualization technologies experience
2+ years of SaaS, CPaaS, and IaaS
Knowledge and understanding of lifecycle management, including implementation, maintenance, patching, health checks, capacity planning, and decommissioning
Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery procedures/solutions
Information security experience
Knowledge and understanding of technology support: Trading Systems, IP Telephony, and video
Job Expectations:
Participates in providing on-call, afterhours, weekend, and holiday support as required
Must be able to work onsite in one of the posted locations
