We are hiring an exceptional Data Engineer to focus on building efficient architecture and integrating across our many upstream data sources and downstream consumers. Architect and Develop Data Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows using Python and SQL to support data integration, transformation, and loading processes.
Build and Maintain ADO Pipelines: Develop and manage Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines and other Azure Infrastructure (subscription, blob storage, VMs, etc.) to automate deployment and integration workflows, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of data solutions.
Implement Best Software Practices: Drive and enforce best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance by implementing robust data validation, monitoring, and auditing processes.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND relevant internship experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
OR equivalent experience.

These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:

Applied Sciences IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
