Service/Repair Project Manager

The Service/Repair Project Manager will provide management direction for JMC’s repair and service division. Roofing industry experience is required for this position. Based on the approved repair project specifications and estimate you play a key role in creating a deliverable schedule that will ensure that we finish each repair on time and within its” Not To Exceed” request. You are a problem solver for the project and because of this role you will assist in the management of various teams and the company owner’s expectations in ensuring project success.

Duties:

1. Must be an avid and staunch advocate for Health and Safety at all levels on project sites with a personal commitment to zero tolerance for any safety violations.

2 . Oversee reception and answering repair calls and electronic requests.

3. Creation of Work Order from Client Request.

4. Must exhibit leadership and management skills necessary to meet production goals.

5. The ability to teach others roofing system installation skills.

6. The ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions according to Company and OSHA standards.

7. The knowledge to inspect and ensure attention to detail and quality.

8. The ability to meet production goals.

9. Must understand budgeting and its implications to production standards.

10. The ability to read and understand architectural plans and specifications.

11. Must provide leadership and lead others to accomplish goals.

12. Ability to juggle schedules, including anticipating weather and its effects, details and outcomes.

Skills:

· Must be knowledgeable about construction and roofing methods, materials, and regulations to be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Self-starter who is decisive and works collaboratively under pressure, particularly when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.

· Ability to multi-task without impacting attention to detail or quality of the final product with a demonstrated ability to coordinate several major activities at once, while analyzing and resolving specific problems.

· Attention to detail with quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize large workloads.

· Reading skills with the ability to make sense of project plans to generate an estimate that is detailed and well qualified.

· Demonstrated ability of establishing a good working relationship with many different people, including owners, other managers, designers, and supervisors.

Requirements:

· Prefer 5 or more years of demonstrated construction and /or roofing management work experience.

· Strong math, cost estimating, budget forecasting, and cost analytical skills.

· Prefer demonstrated experience in roofing scheduling, contract administration, and project management

· Must possess a valid New Mexico driver’s license and can drive to job sites.

· Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
