Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary
The Assistant Project manager will be working hand in hand with our in-field project managers which will include overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. This role involves coordinating with the project managing team, managing all project activities, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders to achieve project goals effectively. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a customer service role. This desk-based position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations with ease, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding service.
Duties
- Coordinate and lead project teams to deliver construction projects on time and within budget
- Order processing, tracking logs, monitoring ship dates.
- Coordinating deliveries and installations.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members to provide project updates and address issues promptly
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management and project coordination
- Detail oriented.
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities
- Familiarity with construction sites, processes, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and contracts
