Position Overview:

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide essential office support and help streamline our daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with management, contributing to the success and growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Reporting: Enter reports, credits, inventory, and boxing reports; post invoices accurately and efficiently.

Mainframe Operations: Utilize IBM Mainframe systems for data processing and management.

Customer Service: Answer phones, screen incoming calls, and provide customer service to clients and partners.

Team Collaboration: Assist in collecting data and preparing materials for team meetings; collaborate closely with management to facilitate daily operations and business development.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI): Handle EDI documentation, including purchase order acknowledgments, advance ship notices, and invoices.

Online Store Management: Work with online platforms such as Amazon and eBay to create and manage storefronts, servicing DIY clients and ensuring smooth operations.

Ability to engage with social media and assist in the creation of digital content also a plus.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience in office support or administrative roles preferred.

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and general computer literacy; familiarity with IBM Mainframe systems and EDI is a plus.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; professional demeanor with the ability to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude when interfacing with clients and partners.

Attention to Detail: Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Adaptability: A can-do, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn quickly and handle a range of tasks as priorities shift.
