Prep/Line Cook
Clean Plates is immediately hiring Prep/Line Cooks!
We are an established meal delivery service that has been operating since 2015 with no shut downs. We offer job security, with working days guaranteed.
Minimum of 2+ years kitchen experience (not fast food restaurants). Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work well under pressure as a team player. Work schedule is consistent. Work 4 days per week (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat) with the other 3 days off. Great work/life balance. Work starts at 6AM. The shift is done when the work for the day is done (usually around 2PM). Day-time hours only. No evenings.
Pay is $18 per hour. Please have an UPDATE RESUME when applying.
Duties include (but not limited to):
-Preparing food and meals to meet the specifications of the recipes in a timely manner
-Preparing/cooking a variety of meats and vegetables; Good knife skills
-Properly measuring/converting ingredients and food portions; Basic math skills
-Comprehending and following kitchen reports
-Keeping the work station and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized
-Following proper health and food safety regulations
-Multitasking and taking direction from head chef
-Paying attention to detail and working well under pressure
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK:
Monday: 6am-2pm
Tuesday: 6am-2pm
Friday: 6am-2pm
Saturday: 6am-2pm
-MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM WORK
-SHIFT ENDS WHEN PREP FOR THE DAY ENDS (TYPICALLY 2PM)
-ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS OFF
