REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to read and comprehend a P.O.S. (Point Of Sale) system as well as other computer programs
Is comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel
Fluent in speaking English and also Spanish
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: CASHIER
Greet every customer coming in from the yard with a “SMILE”
Be sure to thoroughly check all parts brought in.
Check all toolboxes, bags, backpacks for any additional parts that may have found their way into the customer’s possession.
Ring up all parts on the register, again, making sure that all parts are being rung up separately.
AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CASHIER
The responsibilities of the Cashier consist of, but are not limited to the following:
· Ensure all paperwork is handled correctly
· Do cash drops during the day as the Crush system recommends
· Learn and understand all sales office positions to fill in when necessary
· Keep appropriate levels of needed forms made and available
· Ensure all other duties assigned to you are completed in a timely manner
· Bring in carts and wheelbarrows and take out cores during the day when necessary and place cores in the bin outside.
· Perform any other duties required by manager
· Answer phones and follow phone script
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: GATE Clerk
Greet Customers with a smile. Be Loud and Outgoing!
Make sure customers sign in using the electronic sign in and pays
Determine what the customer is looking for, vehicle parts, batteries, or tires
Provide a list of vehicle models and a map of the field where they are located.
Explain how to locate the vehicle highlighting the map
AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GATE Clerk
The responsibilities of the Gate Clerk consist of, but are not limited to the following:
· Keep cash drawer balanced
Create a positive environment for customers and coworkers alike
Keep gate area clean and uncluttered
Bring in carts and wheelbarrows
Keep maps and other supplies needed stocked
Direct first-time customers to a manager to answer any questions
Report any issues to the manager as they arise
If the customer is returning with a current day hand stamp, and is a re-entry, ask customer if they need any further assistance, and thank them for their business.
For new customers: Explain self-service model, and that the customer is removing their own part(s) to gain cost savings
If he electronic sign in is not working, make sure customer prints full name clearly, and signs name, and writes down phone number on the Waiver.
Starting Pay $13.50 hourly + Bonuses
Saturdays (8-6), Sundays Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:30-6:30 set schedule and off three days a week.
