Office Assistant - Bookkeeper- Movie Theater Admin
We're looking for an experienced Office Assistant with basic Bookkeeping skills to join our team operating movie theaters. The ideal candidate will possess traditional ledger bookkeeping skills and be capable of transitioning to QuickBooks online. You'll be responsible for maintaining both systems. We value effective communication and a dedication to outstanding customer service.
This is an in-person PT/FT position. Daytime availability is required from Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., with some additional time for special events. This is an in-person—onsite job located half the week in West Delray and half the week in West Boca. No virtual applicants, please.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in traditional ledger bookkeeping and QuickBooks online
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software including QuickBooks, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and managing invoices.
- Accurate and up-to-date maintenance of the general ledger
- Strong record-keeping and document-filing skills
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Analysis of bank statements and account reconciliations
- Preferred skills in document review, social media, marketing, and basic graphics
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
- Posting to the general ledger and reconciling financial entries
- Generating financial reports by analyzing account information
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing accounts payables, accounts receivables, and payroll
Requirements:
- Bookkeeping experience
- Understanding of QuickBooks systems
- Residence in Palm Beach County or ability to commute daily to West Delray or West Boca Raton office
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
