Job Description: Mobile Food Truck Cashier/Cook
Position: Cashier/Cook
Location: Charlotte NC, and surrounding areas
Schedule: Flexible, 3-6 days per week (20-30 hours, potential for more based on events)
Overview:
Join our dynamic food truck team, serving delicious corporate lunches and multiple events across NC & SC! We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take on a variety of roles, including taking orders, cooking, and ensuring a clean and efficient food service operation.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders accurately, and handle payments with a friendly demeanor.
Food Preparation: Assist in prepping ingredients and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards.
Food Service: Serve food to customers in a timely manner and maintain a positive interaction.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning equipment.
Collaboration: Work interchangeably with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy events.
Shutdown Procedures: Assist with closing down the food truck, including cleaning and restocking supplies for the next shift.
Flexibility: Adapt to varying event schedules and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or cash handling preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
