Sr. Accountant
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Staff Accounting Manager to join our team located in Englewood, Colorado. In this role, you will be expected to manage various accounting activities including reconciling bank statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with insurance renewals. This role is crucial to the effective operation of our business and requires a professional with a strong grasp of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software.Responsibilities: Manage and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all expenditures are properly coded. Download, review and correctly code credit card statements. Post brokerage account activity for the month, including total interest, dividends, capital gains and changes in the fair market value of assets. Oversee the bill payment process, including posting automatic payments and preparing bills for approval. Process capital calls for investments and assist with insurance renewals. Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports on cash receipts and expenditures. Assist with the preparation of fair market value balance sheets. Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including reviewing bank reconciliations and accounts receivable, updating prepaid account workpapers, and reviewing accounts payable. Update fixed asset records and post depreciation. Review and update accrued liabilities and payroll, as well as review note amortizations.
