Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant in Englewood, Colorado. The primary function of this role is to ensure the accuracy of daily financial transactions and prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations. This role operates in the industry of finance and accounting and is a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct daily audits of open Accounts Receivable balances. Perform daily error report and PayPal reconciliation, investigating and rectifying all discrepancies. Accurately track and record any refunds or payments done outside of the system. Prepare journal entries for special deposits and monthly journal entries for refunds and chargebacks as needed. Execute monthly account analysis on Accounts Receivable related accounts, membership revenue, and product orders. Carry out monthly bad debt analysis. Support MS Dynamics 365 development with testing and error reporting. Assist in the coordination with the IT team when trends are identified that need to be resolved with corrections. Update workflows and business processes as needed. Assist the Accounts Receivable clerk position when needed to resolve balance and payment issues. Complete other projects and duties as assigned. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position. Proven proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations. Solid understanding of the General Ledger and Journal Entries. Previous experience with Month End Close. Proficiency in the use of SAP and MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Enterprise Resource Planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Professional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
