Hi,

We are looking for a Full Time (Mon-Fri) Podiatry office administrator with experience in billing. We have a billing service but a thorough understanding of Podiatry billing is still very much needed. Other responsibilities include front office duties and overseeing the back office medical assistant. The practice is located in Midtown Manhattan and the position pays $40,000/year. Immediate start is needed and one month of training with current administrator will be given to help with a smoother transition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet and assist patients with check-ins and scheduling appointments

2. Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries with professionalism

3. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

4. Oversee back-office operations, including inventory management, coordinating with clinical staff, and maintaining a smooth workflow

5. Maintain a high level of customer service and support to patients and staff

Requirements:

1. Prior experience in a podiatry or medical office administration role

2. Strong knowledge of podiatry billing, coding, and insurance processes

3. Excellent communication and organizational skills

4. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

5. Proficiency with medical software and EMR systems

6. Detail-oriented and proactive with a focus on patient care
