As aSenior Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role partnering with business and technical teams in establishing project teams and providing overall direction for the technology development components of projects from initiation through delivery, including formal long-term support.Responsibilities:
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Manage multiple projects/programs, tasks for multiple constituents and teams under deadlines and often with short notice using strong project management skills including practical usage of project plans, status reporting and budgets. Manage time and resource tracking, and with the ability to assist with vendor management.
Create, maintain, and manage project implementation and work plan documents including project charters, project schedule/plan, RAID log, Gantt charts, team structure, roles/responsibilities, and governance plans.
Drive the gathering of required data from end-users, external suppliers, and key stakeholders to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications, current-state and future-state data and workflow mapping, and business/use cases.
Serve as liaison/customer advocate between technical and non-technical departments, run meetings, manage agendas /minutes, and escalate risk to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
Compile and maintain deliverable repositories for project documents and best practices. Support project team members on the use of deliverable templates.
Provide guidance and mentoring to team members, facilitate effective team interaction, foster relationships with business stakeholders, seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, and manage business stakeholder expectations.What you’ll need:
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field. Graduate degree is a plus.
Experience:Minimum 8 years project management including experience of managing cross-functional teams (technology, operations, vendors).
Certifications/Licensure:Current PMP Certification preferred
