We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our tradition of excellence in Sausalito that we've established over the past 20 years.

The ideal candidate has several years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience, a passion for hospitality, and enjoys serving high-quality great tasting seasonal Italian food in a fun and lively setting. We are looking for a team player who is knowledgeable about Italian and California wine, has demonstrated strong leadership skills, and genuinely enjoys working with and serving locals and visitors alike.

Job Responsibilities include:

An ever-present focus on Hospitality

Strong floor presence

Staff scheduling

Establishing and nurturing vendor relationships

Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience (food/wine/service/facility)

Monthly Restaurant P&L and budget adherence

Knowledge of inventory systems

Direction of and involvement with the Private Dining department

Employee and customer engagement

Communicate policy and procedure to staff members

The ideal candidate has:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager in a high-volume full service restaurant

Experience with major POS systems (Toast preferred)

Large party and group dining experience

Strong organizational skills

Excellent leadership skills

Proficiency in English and Spanish

Good computer skills

Familiarity with key technology platforms: 7Shifts, OpenTable, TripleSeat, and Back Office (RASI)
