Manages professional and /or skilled trades staff to include Controls Engineers, Construction Technicians and Field Integration Engineers
Builds a strong, diverse team environment, culture of teamwork, collaboration, continuous improvement and customer excellence
Provides advanced technical guidance to employees and peers in general product knowledge and implementation concepts and processes
Develops processes and procedures to implement functional strategies

Functional Competencies
Extensive technical expertise across a broad spectrum of size, scope and complexity in Central Fill Automation solutions. This includes Conveyor Systems, PLC Control architecture and design, Electrical/Pneumatic/Network design and Construction Installation services
Knowledge and experience with understanding, interpreting and updating design drawings in AutoCad.
Demonstrates a commitment to meeting/exceeding customer expectations
Expertise to manage complex and multi‐faceted customer issues by leveraging strong relationships both internal and external.

Qualifications
Extensive experience with Automation Systems, Controls Engineering and Construction Installation
Considerable decision-making capability
Sensitivity to accuracy and timeliness
Ability to train and evaluate peers and support staff
Education or Equivalent:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience or Equivalent:
People management or team leadership experience preferred. Experience with managing virtual teams.
Customer/Client relationship management experience. Demonstrated success in driving customer satisfaction and quality.
Experience with HIS/PIS systems.
Demonstrated understanding and experience with pharmacy workflow.
Four or more years of experience in an acute care hospital environment.
Inventory management, robotics and/or IV workflow systems experience a plus.
Knowledge of pouch packaging systems and processes
Desire a working knowledge of a variety of software applications, including BD Medical Systems products and exposure to solution design processes.
Experience with integrated delivery networks/enterprise level health systems preferred.
Work Environment:
Travel may range from 50% ‐ 80%, overnight travel
Must possess valid US passport.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet BD’s auto safety standards
Position requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends.
Ability to work independently from home office.
