If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.Key Responsibilities:The Program Manager- Warranty plays a vital role in supporting the efforts to improve supplier performance and enhance recovery through business impact remedy and warranty claims. This position assists in tracking and analyzing claims data, providing insights to support negotiations and recovery efforts. The Program Manager works closely with the Manager - Supplier Accountability, gathering information, preparing reports, and supporting interactions with both internal leadership and suppliers. This role is key in ensuring the efficient execution of claims leading to improved supplier performance and positive financial outcomes for United Airlines.

Assist in the creation, tracking, and concerns of warranty and remedy claims, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete

Support efforts to recover financial returns by providing research and data-driven insights

Work with internal departments to coordinate and analyze data related to supplier performance and impact costs

Compile data from MRO information systems (including SCEPTRE, eSFR, ARDocs, TOCS, etc.) to prepare and compile claims

Prepare detailed progress reports and updates for leadership on remedy and warranty matters

Gather strategic insights to help advise decisions and support the manager in making recommendations for claims and negotiations

Support negotiations with suppliers by compiling relevant data and analysis

Provide background research and assist in preparing the manager for discussions involving significant financial settlements

Support the Strategic Sourcing and Legal teams by researching existing contracts and supplier agreements

Assist the manager in reviewing contract language to ensure enforceability and accountability in supplier relationships

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims activities

Prepare regular reports for leadership that track the progress of claims, highlight financial impact, and provide insights into supplier performance trends

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering

At least two years of experience in supply chain, logistics, finance, or a similar industry

Strong understanding of supply chain management, contract administration, and supplier negotiation

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

Master's degree

At least two years of experience in initiating and leading high-impact claims, including data analysis, contract interpretation, and supplier negotiation

Familiarity with Boeing PSAA and Airbus SSC product support provisions

Ability to draft and negotiate sophisticated product support contract terms

Basic knowledge of SCEPTRE or similar systems

Proficiency in writing and applying SQL queries
