Job description

Busy remediation business based in Schaumburg is looking for new team members who are skilled with tools and who are handy. This job requires climbing ladders. Pay is commensurate with experience, but experience is not required. There are many opportunities for advancement and higher rates of pay for people with advanced skills, including; insulation replacement, lift operation, masonry, and carpentry. Experience is not required. We train. Higher pay for those with experience.

Basic Duties Include:

Using hand tools, like shovels, hammers, and drills

Digging to install underground metal mesh as a preventative measure against wildlife

Replacing and adding insulation to attics

Repairing damage caused by nuisance wildlife, including patching, sealing, and painting

Higher-Level Duties for More Skilled Candidates Include:

Inspect sites and, after training, perform estimates

Explain needed repairs to clients

Keep daily logs, including photographs taken during inspection

Provide written feedback related to the findings
