Description We are in search of a Data Analyst to join our team remotely to provide data services with our enterprise-level global trade compliance system. The successful candidate will be part of a team of professionals, collaborating with partner teams and stakeholders across the enterprise, primarily focusing on data reporting and database development.Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure global trade data is accurately represented and updated across all systems.

Support project collaboration primarily with US locations.

Report on international trade data inconsistencies to stakeholders.

Utilize SQL development tools to query enterprise-level data and report results.

Execute data uploads using tools such as Oracle SQL Loader.

Identify and report data inconsistencies that may impact data quality.

Uphold standards to ensure data quality, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

Propose enhancements to processes and systems to guarantee data quality and consistency.

Contribute to a library of queries and scripts for company-wide reuse.

Participate in technical and functional reviews of data analysis.

Collaborate with team members across locations to understand project requirements.

Communicate effectively and openly to ensure mutual understanding of requirements, processes, and tools.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience (3+ years in data analysis or database development).

Proficient in Oracle database development, PL/SQL data modeling.

Self-starter comfortable with geographically distributed virtual team collaboration.

Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and maintain a curious mindset.

Capacity to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with international trade compliance requirements of the US government.

Familiarity with data reporting and analysis tools like PowerBI, Tableau etc.

Experience with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, Sharepoint etc.

Basic understanding of ERP systems, for example, SAP, Epicor, JD Edwards etc.

Understanding of engineering systems (Product Lifecycle Management, Application Lifecycle Management).

Experience with Oracle database optimization techniques.

Experience with service desk tools such as Service Now.

Experience with Software Configuration Management tools like Subversion, Git or Azure DevOps.

Background in working within a highly regulated industry.
