Qualifications:

- Commitment to HealthSPORT's core values, and core focus

- Experience working and interacting with young children

- Must be familiar with approved methods of problem-solving behavior for young children

- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and clean/neat appearance

- Must possess a high level of creativity and a customer service mindset

- Ability to work flexible hours as required, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays

- Ability to communicate at a child’s level

- Ability to communicate to parents about important issues related to their child

- Enthusiastic, dependable, and able to work as part of a team

Reports to: Gymnastics Lead

Position Status: Non-Exempt / Part-Time (schedule may include weekends, evenings, and Holidays)

Essential Job Functions:

- Create a fun, safe, motivating, and enjoyable environment while working in Kids Cove

- Responsible for ensuring the safety of the children

- Keeping our Kids Cove and gymnastics area clean and sanitized on a regular basis

- Maintain a neat/clean appearance and good personal hygiene

- Learn proper emergency procedures and follow them as necessary

- Help build the program by assisting in outreach and follow-up with clients, prospects, and community

- Learn about and keep current on all available programs and/or activities at HealthSPORT

- Work special events (community events and special HealthSPORT programs)

- Attend meetings as requested

- Communicate problems/suggestions to your immediate supervisor in a timely manner
