Front Desk Assistant & Social Media Coordinator

At Softglamour, we are dedicated to providing exceptional lash and facial services while creating a welcoming environment for our clients. We have been in the Sunnyside neighborhood for almost a decade and have amazing clientele. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Front Desk Assistant to join our team!

What we are looking for?

We are seeking a motivated, organized self-starter with a great personality to be the first point of contact for our clients. In this dual role, you will assist with front desk operations and manage our social media presence while supporting the owner and contributing to our growing team.

Although we love meeting new aspiring or experienced lash & facialist, we are currently not looking for artist until spring 2025. We need a permanent front desk assistant.

Front Desk Operations:

- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive first and last impression for clients.

- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, ensuring clients adhere to their reserved times.

- Enforce the studio’s cancellation policy while maintaining great customer relations.

- Check clients in and out, encouraging rebooking to ensure a steady flow of clients for our artists.

- Offer clients refreshments and engage in friendly conversation about services and products.

- Maintain a clean and organized studio, performing deep cleaning once a week and regular tidying throughout the day.

- Assist artists between client appointments and support the owner with various tasks as needed.

- Manage POS software and retail inventory.

- Handle emails, texts, and phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.

-Solid written and verbal communication skills

Social Media Coordination:

- Manage and maintain our social media platforms, primarily Instagram and TikTok.

- Post content regularly according to our content calendar, keeping up with trends.

- Create engaging reels, stories, and marketing materials, with an eye for design being a plus.

- Coordinate content creation days with the manager and artists.

- Engage with followers by responding to messages and comments promptly.

- Help organize team activities and events with the manager.

Qualifications:

- No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

-1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently

- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment and open to learning from constructive feedback.

-Full time : 32 hours per week . M-F 9am-7:30pm / and or Sat & Sun 10am-6pm

-Must be flexible and able to work weekends.
