Office Clerk
Description An organization is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented General Office Clerk to join their team. This role requires a particular focus on managing HRIS data, including auditing timesheets, tracking Paid Time-Off (PTO), and acting as the secretary for the Safety Committee. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, diligent, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards of data accuracy. Monitoring and auditing timesheets to ensure correct entries and managing any necessary corrections.
Supervising PTO tracking, ensuring accurate records, and considering the optimization of the process.
Ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry in the HRIS database
Coordinating administrative tasks related to the Safety Committee, including scheduling meetings, organizing minutes, and maintaining required paperwork
Effectively communicating with relevant stakeholders regarding meeting details, internal matters, and other concerns
Organizing and maintaining sensitive employee data in a confidential and responsible manner.
Assisting with other office tasks as needed, such as organizing files, answering phones, processing mail, and other administrative duties.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in an office or administrative role
Proficiency in data entry with an emphasis on accuracy
Experience with HRIS systems will be an advantage
Computer literacy skills, ideally with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
