Req Number 140762Job DescriptionLeads the administration of site team member health programs and services; focusing on the promotion and restoration of health, prevention of work-related illness and injury, and the protection from work related and environmental hazards. Administers and evaluates Team Member Health Services (TMHS) while maintaining consistency with other site locations in addition to organizational goals and objectives. Conducts team member health screenings and provides assessment and management of occupational health initiatives.Job Responsibility1.Leads the activities of assigned team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.2.Promotes department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.3.Leads team in day-to-day implementation activities of new products, services, or techniques.4.Manages resources including supplies, equipment, staff, and information.5.Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.6.Administers site wide team member health programs; conducts annual health screenings and administers immunizations, as needed.7.Assists with conducting surveillance and follow-up on occupational exposures including but not limited to needle sticks, injuries, and other infectious disease exposures.8.Performs return to work clearance, including any communications necessary with employees' care providers.9.May perform pre-placement health clearance for new hires inclusive of obtaining a health history and physical exam.10.Ensures a safe environment for Team Member Health Services that is conducive to positive health teaching and maintaining team members' expectations of care and privacy.11.Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.Job QualificationBachelor's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies, required.Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, OR aRegistered Nurse in New York State, required.LIC - NYS Registered Nurse (RNLIC) OR (LIC - NYS Registered Nurse (RNLIC) AND LIC - NYS NursePractitioner License (NP) ) OR LIC - Licensed Physician Assistant (LPA)Preferred Skills:
Organization and Leadership skills, preferred.
