Introduces and performs the energetic therapy of Reiki as an aid in relaxation and provides supportive listeningJob Responsibility1.Explaining the energetic modality process and answering questions about the practice2.Conducting reiki consultations for the clients3.Guiding energy and activating the healing process4.Observes client response before, during and after treatment, and provides feedback to the client when requested5.When necessary, performing distance Reiki treatments6.Educating potential clients/clients on how to schedule an appointment7.Collaborates with the Holistic Nurses as needed8.Works under the supervision of more experienced lab/diagnostic team members and/or patient-facing team members9.Responsible for accurately and responsively performing routine assigned clinical tasks of limited complexity10.Follows standard practices and procedures designed by the clinical department or unit11.Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functionsJob Qualification1.High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred2.Certified as a Reiki Level II practitioner3.A minimum of one year of Reiki practice experience preferred4.Active listening skills and strong knowledge of Reiki modality procedures5.Strong interpersonal skills, empathetic, patient, calm, non-judgmental demeanor6.Compliance with all applicable infection prevention protocols7.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and sound judgment as to when to escalate a situationAdditional Salary DetailThe salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
