Controller
Description As the Controller, you will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, manage the operations of the General Ledger and Accounts Payable sub-departments, and assist in the implementation of new ERP Systems. The role is also engaged with cross-divisional and departmental revenue, cost, and budget to actual analysis, and plays a crucial part in ensuring all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes are implemented within the team.Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, cost reports, and corporate reporting packages. Manage the day-to-day operations of the General Ledger and Accounts Payable sub-departments. Assist in the Data Migration and implementation of new ERP Systems. Conduct cross-divisional and departmental revenue, cost, and budget to actual analysis. Carry out Sub-Ledger Reconciliations, including, but not limited to: Cash, AR, AP, Advance Billings, Inventory, Return to Vendor, Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and Inventory Accruals. Assist with the analysis and preparation of the Monthly Executive Reporting Package. Calculate and process monthly sales tax reporting to all states we report into. Support the operational reconciliation and audit of owned inventory. Analyze various audits, prepares/reviews reports, and communicate recommendations to management based on reports analysis. Ensure upper management receives timely updates on activity, goals, performance, and any departmental needs.
