Professional Electrical Engineer
Job DescriptionDay-to-day:An employer in the Bryan/ College Station, TX area is looking for an Electrical Engineer. This person will be responsible for mentoring and overseeing the work of their team. They will act as technical oversight for electrical engineering group. This person will be hands on spending their day designing and communicating with clients. They will oversee a team of engineers to help execute on project delivery. Projects can range from smaller projects or up to $60 to over $100 million and they can be responsible for up to 20 at any given time. The project focuses include K-12, higher education, healthcare, baking facilities, and some industrial work. This person will be responsible for taking projects from start to finish. This position can pay between $120,000 to $150,000 depending on experience.Responsibilities: · Prepare design documents appropriate for the project and in accordance with company standards. · Advise and mentor staff to help in their growth · Monitor project status and development to meet project deadlines · Coordinate the completion of the documents in the appropriate time to have a QA/QC review completed prior to the deadline for the project · Coordinate staffing manpower needs weekly with the Project Manager · Assist in interviewing and providing feedback of possible future personnel · Review the electrical budget hours and coordinate any recommended adjustments with the Project ManagerWork with the Project Manager to manage manpower needs/timing as well as monitoring the electrical budget on the projectWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
