Summary

The Maintenance Technician will provide thorough and timely maintenance services for retail, industrial, office, medical, gym, and other clients. The technician is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues while effectively communicating to ensure efficient completion.

Essential Functions

Perform routine building maintenance independently or as part of a team.

Conduct minor electrical maintenance such as repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing hoses as needed.

Complete carpentry, painting, and masonry work by preparing surfaces, applying paint, stains, or varnishes using a

brush, sprayer, or roller, and handling tasks like hanging doors, fitting locks, and replacing ceiling tiles and T-bar

systems.

Handle fixture installation by installing restroom fixtures, building and securing benches, and installing signage,

mirrors, and ceiling tiles.

Perform minor concrete work including installing wheel stops, bollards, parking signage, parking lot striping, and

addressing trip hazards.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Core Skills and Competencies

Comprehensive knowledge of construction, business, and finance practices, theories, and policies.

Ability to lift or push up to 75 lbs and climb ladders

Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

Ability to complete work orders thoroughly and on time

Comfortable working in high temperatures outdoors

Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to follow instructions and operate office equipment, including computers

Strict adherence to safety guidelines and procedures

Education and Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

Basic understanding of required duties

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift or push up to 75 lbs and climb ladders

Additional Requirements

Job is based in Santa Ana but must be able to travel throughout Southern California

Positive, "can-do" attitude

Flexible availability, including nights and weekends

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

Clean driving record

Bilingual skills preferred
