Structural Welders/Fabricators Needed!

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Structural Welders/Steel Fabricators for an immediate start in Greenfield, NH!

LONG TERM POSITION

PAY: $20-25/hour (based upon experience)

HOURS: Shifts will be 10-hour workdays

SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 1:30am

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: temp-to-hire

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Welder to join our team. As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding various steel structures and components. Your expertise in welding techniques, blueprint reading, and safety protocols will be crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Blueprint Reading - Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.

Steel Fabrication - Cut, shape, and assemble steel components using various tools and equipment, including cutting torches, grinders, and welding machines.

Welding - Perform various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join steel components accurately and securely.

Quality Control - Inspect completed work for accuracy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety standards.

Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Teamwork - Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople, to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation.

Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick welding).

Ability to operate various hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in welding or steel fabrication.

Experience with specific steel fabrication techniques (e.g., plate fabrication, structural steel erection).

Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
