HIRING Butcher / Meat Cutter at Gourmet Market
McCall's Meat & Fish Co. is hiring for a full-time Butcher / Meat-Cutter to start ASAP.
Ideal candidate is someone with butcher shop experience and/or an experienced chef looking to hone in their meat-cutting skills.
40 hours a week (Must be able to work weekends)

Ideal candidate:
- Has previous experience cutting meat
- 2+ years kitchen experience
- Willing to learn from our seasoned staff
- Works with a sense of urgency + attention to detail
- Able to hop up front to assist customers as needed
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Is a team player with a positive attitude
- Has a CA Food Handler's Card or can have one by assigned start date
- ability to break down beef/lamb/pork/fish is a huge plus
Job duties:
- Cutting meat for sausage/grinds, grinding meats, breaking down whole chickens, trussing whole chickens, making stock, etc. (As needed, to assist team)
- Helping fulfill and organize customer orders
- Assisting cleaning and properly packaging meat for storage
- Any task needed from the butcher staff or management
