HIRING at Gourmet Market / Butcher Shop

Looking for a jack of all trades to join our team!

McCall's Meat & Fish Co. is a hip gourmet butcher shop and market with 2 locations in LA.

This job posting is for our location in Santa Monica on Montana Ave.

Duties include:

- Customer facing counter service / cashiering

- Delivering warm customer service that maintains the charm of the local neighborhood butcher shop/take the extra mile to engage with the customer

- Restocking retail shelves + produce fridges throughout the day

- Wrapping up meat + seafood properly at end of each shift

- Overall shop upkeep - keeping the store tidy, organized + clean

Requirements:

- Must have basic knowledge of meat, seafood + cooking procedures

- Must have an open schedule

- Must have a strong work ethic, self starter mentality + a positive attitude

- Must be fluent in English (bilingual in Spanish a plus!)

- Must have California Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certificate.

Pay/Benefits:

- $19-20/hr + tips. With reviews + room for growth/promotions.
