American Airlines is seeking a video/design/communications professional who can create best-in-class multimedia experiences by leveraging current trends and using an elevated design approach. They will be responsible for helping the brand tell more impactful stories in a progressive digital space, collaborate with the team in creating compelling experiences, and provide video content for all our channels.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with other designers and stakeholders to deliver engaging communication solutions that shape how team members, customers, and media connect with the company. You must have a passion for digital content, a keen eye for design, and enjoy crossing disciplines to deliver a compelling, connected, and elevated experience.
The Specialist/Sr. Specialist Digital Content Production is an integral member of the Global Engagement team who will bring their commitment to visual storytelling and desire to deliver on our communication goals.

Create content that inspires American Airlines team members and customers to engage with our brand storytelling and understand our business objectives.
Develop concepts, campaigns, storyboards, and designs for various internal/external communications efforts.
Produce animated GIFs, enhanced data visualization, illustrations, kinetic typography shorts, logos, presentations, web content, and cool stuff in general.
Participate in video and photo shoots from beginning to end (pre- to post-production) from planning, to operating the camera and editing for various channels.
Create snackable content for various channels that can be tailored to its needs.
Understands business priorities and industry trends to identify innovative stories aligned with and enhance the American Airlines brand.
Delivers fresh approaches to print, social, web, and large format screens as media trends and digital and creative landscapes evolve.
All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts or Video, Communications, or relevant field.
3+ years experience in a relevant field.
Expert with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator,
Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere, and After Effects.Strong visual design skills, including layouts, information design, motion graphics, and typography.

Conceives, directs, and shoots videos for various audiences with minimal supervision.
Coordinates video production and post-production process to effectively manage project workflow, timelines, project direction, and final deliverables.
Ability to script, produce and field produce creative content from start to finish.
Knowledge of lighting, shooting, audio recording, etc., to capture and tell a compelling story.
