OBJECTIVE:Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our organization’s IT operating system environment and infrastructure. This includes managing servers, hardware, and software, as well as providing technical support for helpdesk and users.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Managing routine morning checks of systems and environment and provide any subsequent remediation.2.Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows servers (both physical and virtual) to ensure uptime and performance.3.Install, configure, and maintain Linux, mainly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, servers (both physical and virtual) to ensure uptime and performance.4.Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.5.Run tenable reports and remediate Server vulnerabilities based on results.6.Manage Active Directory environment in Production and Test.7.Manage virtual environment using VMWare’s vSphere and ESXI.8.Develop, support, and troubleshoot scripts written in Microsoft PowerShell.9.Manage SCCM site, application deployments, scripts, and task sequences.10.Implement group policy to ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and organization’s IT policies.11.Perform Annual reviews of IT infrastructure systems to verify integrity and compliance.12.Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures or disasters.13.Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to ensure seamless IT operations.14.Patriciate in IT projects and initiatives.15.Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Along with recording and tracking changes made to the IT infrastructure environment.16.Assist in ADFS and SSO implementation as needed.17.Configure and deploy certificate templates.18.Other duties as assigned.Less that 5% TravelEDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCEMinimum education, licenses, certifications (if any) and experience needed to perform the essential duties of this position.EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related scientific field.
