Senior Accounting Manager
Are you an experienced, tech savvy, degreed accountant or CPA with leadership skills looking for more life balance and no commute? Marie Browne Business Management Services is hiring a part time (20 to 30 hours per week) Senior Accountant to work 100% virtually. Hours are flexible, compensation DOE. 401(k) plan offered. Job can grow to full time if that works for you.
We are a global team of mostly part time bookkeepers and accountants with a diverse client base of really nice small business and non-profit clients, all based in the US, mostly in Washington State. We provide full bookkeeping services, payroll (outsourced to Gusto), multi state excise filing, 1099 preparation, and financial statement preparation and analysis. We don't file income taxes, but work closely with clients' tax preparers.
We like, respect and support one another by cross-training and sharing information and expertise as well as backing up our team mates as needed. We meet once a week via Zoom, but the rest of the time we set our own schedules. We love the freedom and flexibility of part time, completely remote work.
Our work is managed with a robust tech stack, but we believe in maintaining strong client relationships as well, and that happy employees translate to happy clients and vice versa.
We offer continuous learning and training opportunities, and are open to discussing and financially supporting long term professional development goals.
