Fraud Analyst
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Fraud Analyst in the industry, based in San Francisco, California. As a Fraud Analyst, you will be instrumental in conducting investigations into fraudulent transactions, overseeing anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, and managing KYC (Know Your Customer) processes. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities Conduct detailed investigations into fraudulent activities Monitor and analyze customer transactions for any suspicious activity Implement and maintain KYC processes to ensure customer identity verification Oversee AML procedures to prevent and detect illegal money-laundering activities Maintain accurate records of all fraud-related activities and investigations Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to fraud and transaction monitoring Collaborate with team members to improve fraud detection strategies and processes Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in fraud detection and prevention. Requirements Proficiency in AML - Anti Money Laundering, to ensure compliance with financial regulations and prevent illicit activities. Strong skills in Fraud Investigation, to detect and investigate suspicious activities effectively. Knowledge of KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, to verify the identity of clients and assess potential risks of illegal intentions. Experience in Transaction Monitoring, to track and analyze transactions for signs of fraudulent behavior.
