- Resident Care: Provide direct support and assistance to residents in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and recreational activities.

- Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by supervising activities and maintaining a secure environment.

- Emotional Support: Build positive relationships with residents, offering emotional support and encouragement to foster their personal growth and development.

- Behavior Management: Implement individualized behavior support plans and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of resident progress, incidents, and daily activities in compliance with regulatory standards.

- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and medical professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Crisis Intervention: Respond effectively to emergencies and crises, employing de-escalation techniques and following established protocols.

- Community Engagement: Encourage residents to participate in community activities and foster social connections outside the home.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in social services, healthcare, or a related field preferred.

- Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications in behavior intervention or mental health support are a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.

- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to promoting dignity and respect for all individuals.
