Shipping Clerk & Customer Service

We are a local shipping and receiving company in the Camas/Washougal area and we are looking to hire a part-time office assistant/shipping and receiving clerk. The ideal candidate lives in the Camas/Washougal area. This position starts off as part-time with room to grow. On the job training provided.

MUST HAVE:

-Clean groomed appearance.

-Drug-free and alcoholic-free life style.

-Positive attitude.

-Ability to learn shipping computer software.

-Positive communication skills.

-Reliable Transportation.

MUST BE ABLE TO:

-Work well with others as well as independently.

-Be punctual and reliable.

-Perform work with a positive attitude.

-Be able to lift up to 50lbs.

-Communicate with a positive friendly demeanor.

-Perform basic computer tasks

-Learn and understand our general customer database.

-Pass background check and ability to be bonded.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

-Open and close the store.

-Manage scheduled services.

-Quote shipping and packaging prices.

-Preparing and packing customer shipments.

-Receiving and logging daily incoming shipments.

-Administering customers’ package pickup.

-Answering phones, emails and checking messages.

-Help manage inventory/regular stock level checks.

-Notarize documents for customers (Training, Bonding, Notary Stamp provided)

-Digital fingerprinting for scheduled customers (Training provided)

-Assessment of customers’ precious metals (Training provided)

SALARY:

Competitive pay with room to grow as responsibilities are added.

HOURS:

Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm with some flexibility. Some Saturdays required
